Young Donegal man killed in collision

A man who is understood to be from West Donegal has been killed in a traffic collision.

The crash happened on the N2 near Collon in Co Louth, yesterday afternoon.

The man, who is in his 20s, died after the car he was driving collided with a truck.

Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to the accident to contact them.

The man’s identity has not yet been released until all family members have been informed.
