PETER McEniff is in his third year as a Donegal Under-20 – and would dearly love to get hold of an Ulster Championship medal in Clones today.
Donegal face Tyrone in the Ulster Under-20 final at St Tiernach’s Park (throw-in 3pm) and McEniff is gunning to help Shaun Paul Barrett’s team create some history.
“When you’re growing up, it’s what you dream of: Playing for Donegal at Ulster final level,” he told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.
“We met up in November and this was always on our minds. We scraped through the two games, but this is where you want to be.
“This is the first time for Donegal to be in the Under-20s final so there’s extra motivation there to bring it back to the Hills.”
