SEAMUS Coleman has been ruled out of the Republic of Ireland’s Euro 2020 play-off against Slovakia.
The Killybegs man was injured in Everton’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Sunday.
Coleman was withdrawn after 28 minutes at Goodison Park after picking up a quad muscle injured.
Ireland take on Slovakia in Bratislava on March 26.
“I think Seamus is struggling for the games,” Ireland manager Mick McCarthy said.
“He’s got a thigh strain, a strain or a tear. I’m told it could be four to six weeks. That will put him out if that’s the case.”
