SEAMUS Coleman has emerged as a doubt for the Republic of Ireland’s Euro 2020 play-off semi-final against Slovakia later this month.
Coleman was withdrawn from Everton’s 1-1 draw against Manchester United at Goodison Park yesterday.
The Killybegs man sustained a quad injury and was replaced by Djibril Sidibe on 28 minutes.
Blues manager Carlo Ancelotti said: “Coleman had a muscle injury but we will see in the next few days.”
In the mixed zone afterwards, Coleman said he was ‘hopeful’ of being available for Ireland’s game in Bratislava on March 26.
