A BIG crowd of Finn Harps fans made their way to the Brandywell last night – and only a late equaliser denied them a win over Derry City.
The few hundred Harps supporters in the Southend Stand erupted when Ryan Connolly gave them the lead on 33 minutes.
That goal looked set to have been enough to earn Ollie Horgan’s men victory.
However, a 95th minute goal by Adam Liddle rescued a dramatic draw for the Candystripes.
The Harps faithful were in fine voice throughout and their artwork included a ‘Welcome To Ballybofey’ banner depicting new signing and ex-Derry captain Barry McNamee.
