FINN Harps have rated veteran attacker Raffaele Cretaro as a ‘doubt’ for this evening’s derby against Derry City.
Harps face their old foes at the Brandywell in a game that will be shown live on RTÉ 2.
Harps are brimming after last Friday’s 1-0 win over Sligo Rovers while Derry will look to get a first win of 2020 after going down narrowly to champions Dundalk in their opener.
Cretaro was on the Harps side last Friday and boss Ollie Horgan says the Tubbercurry man is a concern for the short trip to Foyleside.
On-loan Adrian Delap is unavailable to Horgan for the game against his employers, but Shaun Kelly’s name has been erased from the list of injuries, suggested that the Killybegs man could be poised for a debut against the Candystripes.
Former Derry skipper Barry McNamee – who made his Harps debut last week as a 73rd minute sub – is in line to feature again.
Horgan has been quick to note Harps’ poor record at the Brandywell this week.
“We’ve been turned over very comfortably there the last few times,” he said.
“We have a new team, it’s a huge game for us early in the season while we’re trying to take on a new approach, so we’ll see if perhaps its come a bit soon.
“We know what they have, it’s just a matter if maybe we can dig in and deal with them. We’ll go there in hope rather than expectation and see how we go.”
