A quantity of jewellery was stolen when raiders targeted a house in Letterkenny on Sunday evening last.

Three raiders were caught on CCTV entering a house at Gortlee Road between 6.30pm and 6.50pm.

The homeowner had just left the property a few minutes beforehand.

The gang entered the house through a rear window and the house was left ransacked after the raid.

The raiders are believed to have used a silver hatchback car to leave the area in.

Anybody with any information on the raid is asked to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.
