Party Political Report
Fine Gael Election Candidate Martin Harley has launched his campaign video to share his story and his desire to represent Donegal communities in the Dáil.
Harley, a native of Frosses, is a Donegal County Councillor and the owner of Cheers bar in Ballybofey.
He first entered politics with the aim of helping people and communities. He was first elected to council in 2009 and topped the poll in the Stranorlar Electoral Area in the 2019 local elections.
Now, he wants to take the next step in representing the people of Donegal.
In his campaign video, Harley outlines his plans to strengthen relationships with people in Northern Ireland for Brexit negotiations, to support farming and fishing communities and to ensure the roll-out of rural broadband. His priorities also include climate action, improved localised health services, infrastructure, tourism, mental health services and wellbeing.
