The death has taken place of Fr. Tommy Curran, former Parish Priest of Dunfanaghy and Creeslough.
Fr. Tommy’s remains will be received to St. Eunan’s Cathedral this evening, Wednesday January 29 at 5pm to repose with rosary and night prayer at 9.30pm.
Requiem mass will be at 12 noon on Friday, January 31 and interment afterwards in the family plot in Conwal cemetery.
Fr Tommy Curran served as Curate in Creeslough from 1998 to 2001.
He worked to improve the grounds and bring to life the vision of the architect.
Father John Joe Duffy spoke about the great memories they shared together.
“I remember many years ago spending a day with Fr Tommy and some friends out on Arranmore and Innishcoo island with the late Bernard Mc Glinchey been the skipper of the boat.
“It was a great memory when and as a student, I learned much that day from Fr Tommy.
“Rest in Peace good and faithful servant, he said.”
