CONVOY Arsenal manager Mickey Rodgers believes the promotion race will go right to the wire in Division One.
Convoy overcame Drumoghill 4-1 at The Moss yesterday, scoring three times in the first 18 minutes of the contest.
However, with just eight points separating the top five teams, the race is only just beginning to heat up.
“All we want is to take it game-by-game,” Rodgers told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.
“We have good footballers in there. We encourage them to play.”
Convoy have lost just one of their nine games so far. That was against Kerrykeel 71 and they host the Rabs Park men next weekend.
Rodgers said: “There are still five teams there. It’s very tight. It’ll be a tough run-in. We have Kerrykeel next week. They’re a seasoned side who know the game. It’s a tough League and I think it’ll go to the wire.”
