Planning permission granted for 57 new homes in Donegal

Planning permission has been granted for the construction of a new large housing development outside Donegal Town.

The development will include 31 houses and 26 apartments, located at Old Laghy Road and Farmleigh Park Road in Drumrat.

The estate will comprise 40 housing units overall, along with 80 car parking spaces. 

The dwellings will be a mix of large detached 5 bedroom houses, four-bedroom semi-detached houses, duplex houses and 2 and 3-bedroom apartment units. Landscaped open spaces and a playground is included on site.

Design of the development was carried out by Paul Doherty Architects.

The application was submitted by Damian Cassidy of Tirchonaill Properties in Donegal Town.

Permission was granted by Donegal County Council on 10th January 2020 and construction is due to begin in the coming months.
