Plenty of news announced from the Cloughaneely Golf Club this week.
Cloughaneely Golf club held their AGM last week with a great turnout. The following were elected on the board newly elected 2020 Captain Chris McCallion, Club President Denis Coyle, Secretary Patsy McVicar, Treasurer Patrick McGinley, Competition Secretary Mark McGinley, Handicap Secretary Hugo Cannon, Membership Secretary Owenie Pro McGee, Bar Convener Paul Harkin, Greens Convener Michéal Murray, Oifigeach Caidrimh Phoiblí Seán Ó Gallchóir.
Cloughaneely Golf club also welcomed the news that they will have more members on board to promote Junior Golf and to drive Sponsorship in 2020.
Cloughaneely also launched new Membership rates for 2020. Full Gents is will now be €400 and Beginner or Distance is €200. Rates for Seniors, Ladies and Juniors are available by emailing info@cloughaneelygolfclub.ie or are on display in the clubhouse.
Cloughaneely also held a Singles competition last Sunday with Danny McNulty securing a first-place win with a respectable score of 37pts in adverse weather conditions.
It was also announced that the Drive-In for Chris McCallion and Denis Coyle is scheduled to take place on Sunday 9th February.
