Letterkenny Institute of Technology (LYIT) is starting off the new year with two informative open evenings.
These events will provide the perfect opportunity to find out more information on full-time, part-time and postgraduate programmes available at LYIT this year. There is plenty of opportunities to avail of at LYIT with 54 CAO programmes, 23 Masters and Executive Masters programmes to choose from in areas such as Business, Computing, Science, Nursing & Health Studies, Engineering, Sports, Tourism & Culinary Arts, Law & Humanities, and Design & Creative Media.
The first open evening takes place on Wednesday, 15 January, at the Letterkenny and Killybegs campuses from 5 – 8 pm.
Come along and explore the modern campuses in Letterkenny and Killybegs and find out everything that LYIT has to offer in terms of courses, facilities and student support services.
LYIT Careers Officer, Catherine Lyster, will be on hand to talk through options and offer advice. LYIT staff from all nine departments will also be on hand to talk through specific course content.
LYIT will host a second Open Evening in the Abbey Hotel, Donegal Town on Tuesday, 21 January, 5 – 8 pm
A series of talks on the following various topics have been scheduled for the open evenings:
- The CAO Application Process for Leaving Certificate, mature and further education applicants
- Full-time courses at LYIT
- The transition to third level education (for parents)
- Financing the third level journey (by AIB)
- Student support services
- Part-time courses.
Everyone is welcome to attend these events. LYIT invites Leaving Certificate students, parents, mature students and anyone interested in returning to education or upskilling to come along.
