A famous quote by author John Ed Pearce has never been more true than at this time of year.
“Home is a place you grow up wanting to leave, and grow old wanting to get back to.”
As thousands flock back to their native Donegal to enjoy the festive season with their families, Home Instead Senior Care welcome you back home and celebrate with you, the value of home, caring and community.
There is nothing quite like being at home, sharing in traditions, the smells and sounds, the familiar space that makes us feel safe and loved.
Home Instead Donegal provide quality private home help delivered by local caring and trusted professionals, thus allowing a loved one to remain in their own home and community.
Light housework, meal preparation, personal care and general support to suit each individual client’s needs are just some of the services we offer you and your family.
Our team of local caregivers live throughout Donegal, living in the communities where they are caregiving and bringing the local spirit of the community right into the home of those they are caring for.
If you would like to discuss any caring needs you have for a family member, feel free to give us a call anytime on 074 911 3050.
During the past year Home Instead Donegal have created many community projects that share our passion for supporting the community and the people in Donegal. We have many more planned for 2020.
Age Is Just A Number Exhibition
Our “Age Is Just A Number” exhibition earlier in the year was a huge success.
A social outing for people of all ages, it provided supports and information to those who are interested in positive ageing.
Motivational Moments Donegal
Our weekly Motivational Moments Donegal video series provided messages of inspiration, motivation and positivity to all who viewed them, regardless of age.
Delivered through our Facebook page every Wednesday from Sr. Helen Kelly, a local Donegal educator, motivational speaker and positive ageing advocate. These inspiring videos remain on our facebook page, why not visit our Facebook page and view them over the holidays?
Interview A Grandparent Competition
Home Instead Donegal and ABC School Supplies partnered in 2019 to host a competition where all the schoolchildren of Donegal interviewed a grandparent.
The creative and engaging entries delivered an insight into the grandparent, grandchild relationship and a glance through a window into the past and life in another time.
In 2020 Home Instead hope to partner with a relevant charity and produce a book including a selection of the children’s entries with proceeds going to help the chosen charity.
