Curtis scores again, but Portsmouth fall to heavy defeat

RONAN Curtis netted again today, but Portsmouth fell to a heavy way defeat.

Curtis fired home to put Portsmouth ahead, but Kenny Jackett’s team fell to a 4-1 defeat at Accrington Stanley.

Curtis has been in flying form of late and the St Johnston man continued his good streak at The Crown Ground.

Ten minutes before half-time, Curtis met a Marcus Harness cross to turn in the opening goal. It was the winger’s seventh goal of the season.

Ellis Harrison nodded into his own net just before half-time as Accrington drew level.

It was the beginning of the end for Pompey, as Dion Charles and Colby Bishop, with two, hit three second-half goals.
