The Letterkenny Babies community are all set to host another festive fundraiser on Saturday 8th December – and everyone is welcome.
For the past three years, the team behind the parents’ Facebook group has organised a Christmas Jumper party for families to meet, spread Christmas cheer and raise money for an important cause.
This year’s party takes place on Sunday 8th December in Letterkenny Community Centre 3 – 6pm.
All proceeds will go towards the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in the Coombe on behalf of baby Odhrán Johnston. Baby Odhrán from Carndonagh’s life was saved in June thanks to the amazing medical team at the Coombe Women & Infants University Hospital. And so much has been organised to make the Christmas Jumper Party an unmissable event!
Highlights will be a giant bouncy castle, music from DJ Vinny, Art and Soul by Lynnette face painting, elves to play with the kids and lots of sweets.
Plus, there will be a quiet room with Christmas stories, arts & crafts.
Michaela Bradley Photography will be there taking photos of all the special moments.
Cost of entry to the party will be €5 per child and one euro for every subsequent child thereafter – €6 for two, €7 for three, etc. There will also be donation buckets for the face painting and treat stands and a raffle with great prizes donated by local businesses.
Anyone wanting a raffle sheet or willing to donate a raffle prize can message the Letterkenny Babies page.
Letterkenny Babies is one of the town’s most active online communities. Through sharing events, offers and questions, the group has helped countless parents in many ways.
Everyone is welcome to the festive fundraiser this Sunday – and don’t forget to get the festive jumpers out for party season again!
