Power cut strikes parts of south Inishowen

A number of homes and businesses have been left without power this afternoon after a power outage in Birdstown.

Up to 122 properties have been affected by the outage which was caused by an electrical fault.

ESB workers are working to restore electrical supplies which are expected to be repaired by 5.45pm this evening (Weds)

ESB said: “We apologise for the loss of supply. We are currently working to repair a fault affecting the premises and will restore power as quickly as possible.”
