MICKEY McCann will continue as the Donegal senior hurling manager in 2020, the Donegal County Board have confirmed.
McCann managed Donegal in 2018 and 2019 and has now agreed to stay on for another year.
The Burt man was ratified at tonight’s monthly meeting of the Donegal County Committee with the terms giving the option, subject to a review at the end of the year, of a fourth year.
Donegal were relegated from the Christy Ring Cup after a play-off defeat to London this year. It was Donegal’s first time to compete at Christy Ring level, having won the 2018 Nicky Rackard Cup.
County Committee also gave blessing to David McLoone continuing as the County Development Officer for 2020.
