Each weekly award winner will receive a kitbag, a jacket and a bobble hat, supplied by O’Reilly’s.
The award winner will be chosen via a public vote from a shortlist selected by our panel.
O’Reilly’s Sportswear was founded in 2017 by well-known Twin Towns sporting brothers Steven and Martin O’Reilly.

Richard Kerr (Kilmacrennan)
KILMACRENANN youngster Richard Kerr was celebrating a double win at the Sunflower Trophy Races at the weekend. Aboard the Campbell Motorsport Triumph, Kerr claimed two wins, beating off competition from the likes of North West 200 record-breaker Alistair Seeley.
Ann Marie McGlynn (Letterkenny AC)
ON her way to winning a national silver medal at the 2019 Dublin Marathon on Sunday, Ann Marie McGlynn set a new Donegal marathon record. McGlynn’s 2:32:54 was the sixth fastest time ever by an Irish woman and improved on her previous best by seven minutes.
Ciarán Ó Fearraigh (Ratoath GAC & Gaoth Dobhair)
A NATIVE of Gaoth Dobhair, Ciarán Ó Fearraigh captained Ratoath to glory in the Meath SFC final on Sunday. Ratoath beat Summerhill 3-15 to 2-13 at Pairc Tailteann in Navan. Ó Fearraigh was the skipper as Ratoath won the title for the first time.
Shaun Patton (Finn Harps)
AS Finn Harps won the U13 National Shield on Saturday, Shaun Patton scored twice. Patton netted a brace as Kevin McHugh’s young Harps came from behind to defeat Shelbourne 3-1 at the Diamond Park in Ballyare. The goals took Patton’s total to 22 for the season.
Manny Payton (LYIT Donegal)
LYIT Donegal had a solid weekend in action with wins in the Cup and the League, both in Limerick. On Saturday evening, LYIT Donegal had a 97-71 win over Limerick Sport Eagles in the Hula Hoops Presidents National Cup. They followed that with a 101-75 League win over Limerick Celtics on Sunday. Manny Payton top-scored each time, with 26 points on Saturday and 32 on Sunday.
Edyta Piechowicz (VikingFit)
AT the IPL World championships in Limerick last week, members of the Viking Fit club celebrated fine success. Edyta Piechowicz topped the tree for the Donegal-based club, winning three gold medals and breaking two world records on the way.
