Finn Harps goalkeeper Mark Anthony McGinley described last night’s defeat in Drogheda as ‘a kick in the teeth’.
Harps were on their way to a scoreless draw until Lyons popped up to win the opening leg right at the death.
“We defended well, but it’s disappointing to concede at the end,” McGinley told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.
“It was a kick in the teeth.”
However, McGinley insists that Harps aren’t too despondent.
He said: “It’s not over. The thing was to stay in the tie and not shoot ourselves in the foot. We’re still well in it. We need a big push now on Friday night.”
