A new TV series on BBC has is taking a nostalgic trip to the Gaeltacht in Donegal to capture a summer experience enjoyed by many young people.
Tír na nÓg is a three-part documentary series set in Machaire Rabhartaigh on the north west coast of Donegal.
The programme follows students on a recent course as they meet their Mná Tithe, attend the céilí and get to grips with the rules.
Many familiar faces from the locality feature in the light-hearted series.
The programme airs on Mondays on BBC 2 NI at 10pm.
The first episode is available now on the BBC Player and episode 2 airs tonight (28th October).
