AFTER SEEING his side snatch a late winner last night to preserve their perfect start to the season, Jason Gibson hailed Bonagee’s experienced players.
Harps’ Corey McBride had cancelled out Jordan Armstrong’s early opener, but Larkin’s strike ensured that Bonagee took the spoils.
“Credit to the boys for the character they showed,” Gibson told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.
“A couple stood up at half-time and said if we wanted to get to that these are the games we don’t lose and we can nick the winner.
“I was impressed with the more experienced lads, Michael Funston and Sean Hume, in how they managed the game and ‘Studs’ (Eugene Ferry) in nets.”
