FINN HARPS goalkeeper Ciaran Gallagher has suffered his latest injury set-back.
Gallagher had only just returned to the Harps squad following almost six months out.
However, Gallagher’s season is over before it had really had a chance to resume after the Raphoe native sustained an injury in training on Monday night.
Gallagher missed the majority of the season due to a shoulder injury picked up during a 3-0 loss to Dundalk at Oriel Park in April.
Harps – who take on Derry City on Friday in their final regulation Premier Division game of the season – are sweating on the fitness of Mark Timlin, who was forced off during Friday’s 1-0 win over Waterford in Ballybofey.
Ollie Horgan’s team will play the first leg of the promotion-relegation play-off on Monday with these second leg on Friday-week.
Harps are also awaiting results of a scan underwent by defender Keith Cowan this week. Cowan sustained an injury during the 0-0 draw with UCD and has been unable to return since.
