SEAN O’DONNELL believes that Termon ladies earned their Ulster final place with sheer hard work.
Termon went to the depths of the well on Sunday to overcome St Macartans 1-9 to 2-5 at The Burn Road. An Ulster final against Donaghmyne on October 27 is their reward.
“It was unreal,” O’Donnell told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.
“The last ten minutes were brilliant. We went defensive in the first half, but we said we’d go at them for a time in the second half. We pushed up and it worked out for us.”
Geraldine McLaughlin scored 1-8 for Termon, who had some big performances all over the park.
O’Donnell said: “The girls had to really work for it. They all got a tap in. What can I say, they were brilliant.”
