LYIT Donegal made it two wins from two yesterday as they overcame Fr Mathews at An Danlann.

A 95-76 home win moved LYIT Donegal to 2-0 for the season as they handed Fr Mathews a first defeat in four games.

Mario Garcia, who hails from Malaga, top-scored for Niall McDermott’s team with 28 points while Manny Peyton landed 24 and Andrew McGeever, enjoying a fine start to life back with his hometown club, bagged 15.

Among the highlights of the day was this super buzzer-beater by Garcia, the Spaniard who is in Letterkenny studying English for the next year.
