ODHRÁN McFadden-Ferry admitted that Gaoth Dobhair were guilty of some complacency after almost relinquishing their Championships crowns on Sunday.
Bundoran seemed on the cusp of something remarkable when they hit back from eight points down in a stunning finale to their quarter-final meeting in Letterkenny.
Gary Clancy’s goal had Bundoran dreaming and Gaoth Dobhair wobbling, but the champions, eventually, prevailed in extra time.
“It was tight going and we really needed to dig deep to get the win,” McFadden-Ferry told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.
“It just shows you how close Bundoran are to us.
“We thought that was it. Bundoran wanted it and they got the draw. We just held the heads and reverted back to the game plan in extra time.
