A young woman is in a serious condition in hospital after her car plunged into a river in Ballyshannon.
The crash happened on Sunday at Cavangarden on Sunday afternoon.
The 22-year-old woman was driving her silver VW Bora car at around 4.30pm when her car struck a fence.
The car then overturned and ended up in a nearby river.
The woman was rushed to hospital after she sustained serious injuries.
Gardai are appealing for anybody with any information including motorists who may have dashcam footage to contact Gardai in Ballyshannon.
