DONEGAL captain Michael Murphy was elected to the executive of the Gaelic Players Association (GPA) at the weekend.
The 2012 All-Ireland winning captain was one of three new faces added to the GPA’s National Executive Committee.
Clare hurler Podge Collins, also an All-Ireland winner was elected as was Longford footballer Mickey Quinn.
The National Executive Committee is elected each year by members to manage the players’ body.
The GPA’s AGM and Reps Day took place on Saturday in Dunboyne, County Meath.
