DANNY O’DONNELL says there will be ‘no pressure at all’ on Milford as they face St Eunan’s this weekend in the Donegal SFC quarter-finals.
Milford topped Group C, but were paired against one of the heavyweights, St Eunan’s, who advanced as runners-up in Group A, the so-billed ‘group of death’.
“It’s definitely the toughest draw,” O’Donnell told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.
“There was never going to be an easy draw but most people looking at it would’ve said that Eunan’s were the team to avoid. On the other side, most teams would’ve said that Milford were the team they wanted to get.”
Milford were already through as group winners before they took on Glenswilly on Sunday evening and a defeat at Pairc Naomh Columba was of no consequence to their standings.
Now, they face St Eunan’s in a last eight tie that will be shown live on RTÉ.
O’Donnell said: “There is no pressure at all on us. We’re up against one of the biggest powers in the county who are always competing for county titles. We’re huge underdogs, but we’ll give it our best shot.”
