DONEGAL senior football manager Declan Bonner returned to action and helped his club Na Rossa qualify for the quarter-finals of the Donegal Junior Championship.
Bonner, who turned 54 last month, was in goal as Na Rossa defeated Carndonagh 1-9 to 1-8 away in Foden.
With regular goalkeeper Ryan McGonagle away to New York last week, Bonner got the call for a 40th year as a senior player with the Dooey side.
The 1992 All-Ireland winner, who has managed Donegal to the last two Ulster SFC crowns, made his senior debut for Na Rossa when he was just 14.
Carndonagh led 0-7 to 0-2 at half-time.
John Paul Breslin hit the goal for Na Rossa with John Paul McCready landing three scores and Christian Bonner scored a brace of points.
