MARK MCHUGH says teams ‘trying to keep the score down’ in Championship games are playing a ‘pointless’ exercise.
Kilcar defeated Bundoran 1-20 to 1-13 on Sunday with McHugh again to the fore.
The former Donegal player expressed some frustration at some tactics he has witness so far in the Championship.
“It’s frustrating, but that’s how teams set up and we have to learn from that and deal with that,” McHugh told Paddy McGill of Ocean FM.
“When we were in control they didn’t want to come out. Malin did the same last week.
“I want to win every game I play. If I’m eight down I don’t sit back and try to keep the score down. It’s a bit pointless. That’s not why we play sport.
