DANNY CULLEN says Setanta’s winning of the 2019 Donegal SHC title ‘means everything’.
“It’s a brilliant day for us,” Cullen told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub after the final.
“We’re delighted to win and get the Cup back to the Cross.”
St Eunan’s started brightly, but Mark Devine’s goal just before half-time proved a decisive moment in the game.
Cullen was presented with the Man of the Match award after a stellar hour.
He said: “It’s nice. The last couple of finals, I haven’t performed. You always want to perform on the big days. But we have the Cup now, so who cares about individuals?
“You want to redeem yourself and that’s what happened.
“The boys have really drove it on and got the rewards. It means everything. We love our hurling in the Cross and it does mean everything.”
