The Donegal Alzheimer’s Society is set to benefit from a €19,700 donation following a successful golf fundraiser.
A golf outing took place at the Donegal Golf Club in Murvagh in July, kindly sponsored by Tommy and Nora Gallagher.
Proceeds from the golf classic and other activities were recently presented to the Donegal Alzheimer’s Society to support their vital work in the community.
“Gratitude must go to Tommy and Nora who have been major sponsors over the years,” said a charity spokesperson.
“The golf classic will be held again next year at end of July. Sincere thank you to everyone who contributed in making this fundraiser a great success. “
