A young Buncrana musician is amazing her fans with a powerful cover of Hallelujah.
Keri Kelly (17), who has been blind since birth, has a unique talent for music.
She has a beautiful singing voice and she can remember piano phrases after playing them just once.
Her newest video released this week showcases all of those abilities:

Keri is well-known for her talents at school and locally, but her Facebook page, where she shares her cover songs, is gaining more fans from near and far. Her cover of ‘Grace’ recently went viral on social media with almost 50,000 views.
Keri grew up with a passion for music and is studying music as part of her Leaving Cert.
“Since I was four I could sing full songs,” she told Donegal Daily.
“I’ve been doing piano lessons for the last seven or eight years with Eleanor Lamb in Carn. She has helped me so much. She helped me do my Junior Cert music.”
Keri’s talent has no bounds either – she can also play the harp, drums, guitar, ukulele, tin whistle and flute. She makes her own music via a keyboard connected to her phone.
A future in music is the dream for the Scoil Mhuire student. “I’m more interested in music than anything else,” she said.
Keri’s mum Tracy is full of praise for her daughter’s skills: “Keri teaches herself music from the radio. Her teacher says she’s got the best ear for music. She just knows the notes.
“You can get music notes in Braille, but she doesn’t even use that.
“She only has to play a phrase one time to know it,” Tracy said.
