The public is being warned not to swim in the waters at Bundoran beach due to health risks.
A ‘No Swim’ warning has been issued by Donegal County Council for the next three days.
The risk relates to elevated levels of E.coli in the water, caused by suspected storm water overflow due to localised heavy rainfall.
Donegal County Council said the situation is being monitored and re-sampling will be carried out to assess the area.
