Gardai are hunting for two men who broke into a 93-year-old woman’s home and stole her pension money.

The gang broke into the pensioner’s home in Inishowen in broad daylight yesterday (Sun) and ransacked it.

The two men, who were described as being between 18 and 25 years, broke into the woman’s home at Magherabeg, Inch, while the elderly lady was still inside.

They ransacked the house and managed to escape with the elderly woman’s pension money.

The woman was unhurt but she was left very shaken by her ordeal which happened at 10am.

The men are described as being about 6ft tall with dark coloured hair and both were wearing checked shirts.

A family member of the woman has appealed for the public to help identify the men and to report any sightings in the area to Gardai.

A full investigation has been launched into the robbery by Gardai in Buncrana.

Gardai are looking through CCTV footage while they are also appealing for anybody with dashcam footage in the area to come forward.
