Where is your favourite place in Donegal and why?
Murder Hole Beach in Downings. Just something special about the place, so tranquil and relaxing
Where in Donegal do you call home?
Letterkenny is home and Dunfanaghy a second home
Who is the one person in Donegal that you look up to and why?
My mother. She is just you typical Donegal Mammy. Always looking about her family and always the smell of home baking and a kettle on the boil
What do you think is Donegal’s best tourist attraction?
Slieve League, I don’t think there is anywhere as spectacular in Ireland
Do you prefer Donegal summers or Donegal winters?
Summers, love the outdoors and getting out on the water.
What would you do on your ideal day out in Donegal?
Morning walk in the Derrveagh Mountains, nice picnic followed by an afternoon on the kayak at Hornhead.

Who is Donegal’s greatest ambassador around the world and why?
Daniel O’Donnell, while I’m not a fan of country music I think what he does for our county is amazing. He has never forgotten his roots

That has to be Kevin Bradley, “the local man that delivers”

Shay Given. A lovely person and one who has excelled in his sport

If you could change one thing about Donegal what would it be?
The weather, just a bit less rain would be nice

What is the biggest challenge facing the people of Donegal today?
Brexit. It needs to happen and happen fast so we all know in business where we stand. The limbo and uncertainty of the last couple of years is worse in my opinion than the actual

Any fish from our ocean
Is there anything that really annoys you about Donegal or its people?
No, I love where I live and am passionate about it
