The Senior competitive Maghery Fife & Drum band are set to have a big stage moment this September when they perform at Belfast International Tattoo.
The upcoming appearance was much-welcomed by the group after they had a disappointing cancellation.
The band were originally scheduled to travel to the City of Liverpool’s Tattoo in September were disappointed to hear that the Liverpool show had to be cancelled.
The West Donegal group are very thankful that the show organisers have rescheduled them to perform in The Belfast International tattoo in the SSE Arena which is running Friday 6th and Saturday 7th September.
This is a great honour for the Maghery Fife & Drum to be recognised by the Tattoo show, which showcases the best of music and drum corps worldwide.
Tickets can be purchased via the Belfast International Tattoo website or Ticketmaster and are currently running a 50% offer off all tickets!
The band are currently preparing for their 5th All Ireland Title in Drogheda.
Plus, their junior and senior fife bands within the academy will be performing at Burtonport Festival, the Mary From Dungloe International Festival and the Maghery Festival over the next weeks.
This has been an exciting year for the senior band who undertook a magnificent east coast USA tour earlier in the year.
With new invitations arriving on almost a weekly basis now their schedule is already starting to look like more exciting years ahead.
Their Tattoo relationship is just beginning and they look forward to their promising future working with the show organizers.
As well as the above festival parades the band will be sharing with their community their homecoming event on Mon 19th August, details to follow soon.
