FINN HARPS moved off the bottom of the Premier Division this afternoon without even playing.
Harps’ relegation rivals UCD suffered a heavy 7-0 hammering by Shamrock Rovers at Tallaght Stadium.
The result means Harps are now in the play-off spot, albeit ahead of UCD only on goal difference.
Aaron McEneff and Aaron Greene scored two apiece with Graham Cummins, Daniel Carr and Jack Byrne also netting for the Hoops.
Harps overcame Waterford FC on Friday night as Mikey Place netted the only goal of the game from a penalty at the RSC and Ollie Horgan’s men are back in action on Friday night when they welcome Derry City to Finn Park.
