The community of Raphoe and surrounding areas is being asked to be vigilant for the possible sale of stolen goods after a burglary.
The appeal follows a burglary at a farmyard on the Convoy Road on the night of Sunday 7th July/Monday 8th July.
A number of valuable tools and items were taken, which are believed to be valued at around €2,000-3,000.
A garda investigation has been launched. However, the items are suspected to be up for sale, or may be already sold.
The stolen equipment includes: a loader bucket, 2 STIHL chainsaws, a Draper 3/4″ Socket Set and a magnetic drill.
The farm owner is calling on the local community to remain vigilant for the sale of the above items.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact Letterkenny Garda Station on 0749167100 or the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666 111
