The sun shined as Raphoe Bishop Alan McGuickan completed his 100th Parkrun on Saturday morning in Letterkenny.
The 66-year-old completed the Letterkenny Parkrun in a time of 29:44, coming in at around 54th place.
Alan McGuckian SJ was Ordained as the Bishop of Raphoe at St Eunan’s Cathedral, Letterkenny, in 2017.
A native of Cloughmills in County Antrim, but who has a close affinity to west Donegal, he was the first Jesuit Bishop in Ireland.
The Raphoe resident is a keen runner and he earned a commemorative t-shirt for the achievement.
Meanwhile, it was the 178th Letterkenny Parkrun recorded and over 90 runners, walkers, joggers and pram pushers turned out to embrace the good weather.
Active runners, Aaron Nepgen and Eoghan Mcgannety also completed100 Parkruns on Saturday morning.
