KEN BLOCK has expressed his sympathy on the passing of Manus Kelly, calling the Glenswilly native and three-time winner of the Donegal International Rally a “legend’.
Recognised as a motorsport legend, Block’s Gymkhana videos has been watched over 500million times on YouTube and Donegal is already being viewed on his social media channels by his 13million followers.
Block was competing in Donegal as part of his Cossie World Tour, that saw him drive this iconic rally car in Donegal. He beached his car during Special Stage 3 Dooish on Friday but was still allowed to take part in the latter stages.
However, the rally was cancelled early on Sunday afternoon following a crash that saw 41-year-old Kelly lose his life in Fanad.
