A little coffee shop in Buncrana has added a sprinkle of goodness to their menu with a unique scheme.
Jamboe on St. Mary’s Road has introduced Stampify to raise money for Mary’s Meals.
The cafe is the first in Ulster to add the loyalty scheme, where customers are given the option to donate the price of a coffee to feed children in need.
With a Stampify Loyalty Card, available in Jamboe, customers gain stamps with purchases, like a regular coffee loyalty scheme.
Once the card is complete, instead of getting a free coffee, the money is passed on to Mary’s Meals to feed hungry children in their place of education worldwide.
One stamp is equal to one meal. A full card feeds a child for a week.
Jamboe owner Jamie Gallagher said: “We at Jamboe think this is a win-win idea. We are always seeking new initiative’s to help and improve coffee culture in Ireland. So while you sip on your fairtrade latte from our compostable cups, know that a child is sitting down to lunch for a week. All costing nothing extra to anyone!”
