The community of Killygordon will come together this Friday for a special sporting event in memory of a much-loved young woman.
Jasmine McMonagle was tragically killed at her home in January 2019. Her partner, Richard Burke, has been charged in connection with the murder.
Friends and family of Jasmine, who had two young children, have set up the ‘Smile for Jasmine’ group to remember her, support her cause and raise awareness for other victims of domestic violence.
A 5K Run/Walk will take place this Friday 14th June at Mantis Cranes to the C.A.K.E. Centre in Killygordon.
Details are available in the poster below, with all proceeds going towards Smile for Jasmine.
Later this month on Sunday 23th June, a coffee morning will be held at Dromore National School from 11am. A plaque will be unveiled in the play park in tribute to Jasmine.
