A Stranorlar family are set to hit Ireland’s television screens after landing a prime part on a new series.
The Mc Menamin family Stranorlar, children of Damian and Daireann who have been selected from a nationwide search to be stars of the new show.
The series will comprise of ten shows and will be broadcast this summer.
The children Dylan, Kate and Emily are all students of the Karen Gorman Academy of Speech and Drama and Casting Agency.
A delighted Karen told Donegal Daily “We have been working on this project in our Casting Agency since Easter and are thrilled with today’s news.
“Dylan, Kate and Emily excel in every Speech and Drama class as well as Grade exams.
“The series will comprise of 10 episodes with an entire episode being dedicated to the Mc Menamin sisters and brother. Filming will take place with a crew of 10 professionals later on in the summer over a two day period.
“We cannot wait to reveal more details.”
Acting talent runs in the family with their mum Daireann and grandmother Mary Lafferty both being very well known and respected actors.
“We look forward to all the preparations and shoot with great excitement,” added Karen.
Clients of the Letterkenny based agency have featured in multiple TV and print advertisements nationally & in Milan and Barcelona. These include advertisements for Aer Lingus, 123.ie Insurance, Vodafone Failte Ireland and Skoda to name a few.
