A fun and lively charity dance will be held in Jackson’s Hotel Ballybofey this June in aid of a great local cause.
The dancefloor will be packed on Friday 7th June as crowds gather to enjoy top music from the brilliant Beefsteak Dancers.
Admission is only €5, which is great value for a whole night of entertainment. Doors open at 9pm and the band begins at 10pm.
All money raised from the dance will go towards funding Donegal’s Alzheimer Cafes.
Alzheimer Cafes provide a warm and welcoming space for people with dementia, their family and friends, social and health care professionals to meet, exchange ideas and learnings.
The Cafe is free of charge and usually opens monthly in the early evening.
Some cafes open during the day, and all provide light refreshments and a mix of education and support.
The cafes provide an informal way to meet others living with dementia and to meet health and social care professionals.
Usually an expert speaker is invited each month to talk to the Cafe about a topic of interest, however the cafe is also a space to chat and enjoy a social occasion in a supportive environment.
All are welcome to the Charity Dance for The Alzheimer Cafe on 7th June.
