The Áislann Community Centre in Kilcar is hosting a series of monthly concerts in their Club Ceol starting this Friday the 24th of May.
Friday’s concert starts off with a live performance from the Sliabh Liag Singing Circle that is not to be missed.
Trevor McBrearty, the venue organiser, commented, “This is the first of a series of intimate concerts which will showcase local talent, and indeed some of Ireland’s finest musicians such as Zöe Conway and other exciting artists over the summer months.”
The Club Ceol venue at the Aislinn is now able to host intimate gigs from 30 people right up to a 400 seat concert.
The facilities now have modern PA systems to suit all acts with the recent investment and grant aid they received and there is also a sound engineer provided for all of the performances at the venue.
Refreshments are served each night and the doors open at 8 pm with the show at 8.30 pm.
