Barrett hits hat-trick as Peamount hammer DLR Waves

Amber Barrett netted a hat-trick last night as Peamount United hammered DLR Waves at Jackson Park.

Barrett’s treble and goals from Aine O’Gorman (2), Eleanor Ryan-Doyle and Deirbhaile Beirne gave Peamount a 7-0 win.

Barrett’s first goal had Peamount 2-0 up and another from the Milford woman, who hit the top corner, made it 3-0 for the Peas.

A free-kick from Barrett completed her hat-trick as Peamount cruised to victory that maintains the lead in the Women’s National League.
