Caolan Kelly says that Glenswilly have a new focus under new boss Ryan McKinley.
Last year, Glenswilly lost a Championship semi-final to Naomh Conaill that many feel they left behind them.
Following a defeat to Kilcar in their opening game of 2019, Glenswilly overcame old foes St Michael’s yesterday, when Michael Murphy’s dramatic late goal sealed a 2-7 to 2-6 win.
“We’re definitely not taking our eye off the League,” Kelly, who scored Glenswilly’s opening goal, told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.
“Having a game every week gives you that motivation at training. You’re not sauntering about training now and the format gives you a chance to go at it.
“None of us are getting any younger. Ryan is well known for getting players fit and it’s something we’re focussing on. We’re going to try our best early in the season to get into some sort of shape.”
