Met Eireann extends yellow wind warning for Donegal

It is set to be a very windy night across Donegal with Met Eireann predicting stormy conditions for the county.

A status yellow wind warning is in place for Donegal until Monday night.

Many parts of the county have been experiencing blustery conditions throughout the weekend

The warning read: ‘Strong and gusty southeast winds expected during the period. Means speeds of 50 to 65kmh with gusts of 90 to 110km/h, strongest in coastal areas and about high ground’.

The warning is in place until Monday, April 15 at 7pm.
